Obsolete technology innovates radio advertisement.

The Berlin Video Game Museum’s mission is to share video game history. We had to find a way to provoke public interest in the incredible evolution of the video game industry: History Worth Playing.

We created a new 2KB ZX Spectrum game that appealed to nostalgia through the way we distributed it. We used obsolete, pre-internet methods including radio ads broadcasting game data, posters and prints ads featuring game code, a physical cassette sent to influencers and even a museum installation.
